This summer, Really Really Theatre Group is gonna be busier than ever. With a production of Lungs by Duncan Macmillan, a thrilling new partnership with The Scratch’s Seattle Workshop Series, and new community events, there are more ways for us to connect than ever before.
If this sounds like a lot, it is.
None of this would be possible without our space. 12th Avenue Arts, located on Capitol Hill in Seattle, is one of the only venues in the city able to support the breadth of our vision. With a community rental model that allows us full 24/7 access to centrally located space of our own, we are able to fill that space, hour by hour, with more artists, organizers, and community members than ever before.
However, this space is our second largest organizational cost—second only to the salaries and stipends paid to our artists (a fact that we’re proud of!). Over the next four weeks, we’re looking to raise a total of $8,000.00 to cover our rental at 12th Avenue Arts. Contributions of all sizes make a difference. For every $10 dollars you give, you are directly creating one hour of space.
